Hello, I generally see hundreds of these lines in my log file per day: Exception occurred during ProcessQuarantineQueue: Unspecified error I can get rid of the problem for a while by restarting the service. Server details: Windows 2000 SP3 Any ideas? Thanks |

Bill, Can you please let us know the following: In the Settings - Quarantine DB tab, what is the value of the "interval in minutes for when expired emails are deleted", and for the "number of days to store quarantined rejected emails"? How many emails/day to you generally receive? What is the size of your SpamFilter.mdb database file? Can you please post a few of the log entries that show the error, including (a dozen of) the lines that preceed and follow them? Roberto F. |

Bill, Could you please try to update your MDAC components to the latest version 2.8? If you already have 2.8, please try to reinstall it as sometimes other applications will downgrade some of the MDAC DLL files when installed. If that does not work, is it possible for you to zip up the SpamFilter.mdb database and either email it to support@logsat.com or place it on an ftp site where we can retrieve it? With it we'd like to try to duplicate your error, as we are not able to see anything wrong yet. Roberto F. |

Updated to MDAC 2.8, but I am still experiencing the problem. I will zip up the mdb file and mail it to you. Bill |

For the benefit of other readers in the forum, the culprit in my scenario was that the server backup was locking the database file. Excluding the file from the backup and scheduling a flat file copy into another directory (that does get backed up) was my solution. Thanks, Bill |
