The Spamfilter process uses around 600 MB Memory and about 700 MB VirtualMemory...

Is this normal? We process about 100'000 messages a day and the bayesian corpus files are around 70 MB...

mikek,

The RAM usage is normal if the bayesian corpus file are that large. I'd recommend however clearing the corpus database by stopping SpamFilter, deleting/renaming the SpamFilter\corpus directory, and restarting SpamFilter. In the SpamFilter.ini file, I'd also suggest reducing the number of days that "tokens" are stored, by changing the value of the setting to about 3 days:
CleanUpCorpusIntervalDays=3

deleted the corpus files and the RAM usage is down to 70 MB...

Changed the CleanUpCorpusIntervalDays to 3 (was 7) and will see after easter how it affects RAM usage...

Happy egg hunting! :-)
