2 Questions really.

1. Is there a limit (length) for an entry AND
2. Can we come up with a way to NOT enter the ridiculous entries?

The example below is one that has no use AND it seems to have gotten truncated just before the "pipe"  Ignore the word wrap.

1. I am sure there is, but I haven't found it

2. Wow would that be nice.  I spend a few hours a month cleaning out the auto-whitelist at various customers since I find all kinds of junk in the list due to bad mail practices.

Yes ... I too, spend time cleaning the lists up.  So far, I have not been able to write a good script algorithm to do the job for me.

There should not be a limit on the length, and we don't really want to prevent those entries from being stored based on length, as some mailing lists do use these long names...

But those long emails are usually a generated email with random characters, so it really has no use in the autowhitelist.

How hard would it be to add a function so on the web you could have one tick to either not add it to the whitelist or to add it to the whitelist?

Here is a thought ... how about (and I do this with a perl script now) if the "left Part" of an address is longer than "x", replace it with an "*"?

Also, and now I am really pushing the envelope, how about a totaly separate log to log additions to the AutoAllow so I do not have to constantly look for the "added" entry in the main log file?

OR ... you could just ignore all my stupid ideas!
