For whatever reason our Spamfilter ISP doesn't block or quarantine all mail that is address or keyword blacklisted. My director keeps getting mail from someone whose address is entered in the blacklist (we created) and also gets mail we've setup for quarantine via keyword. What do you think is the problem and is there anyway to fix this. When this sort of thing happens users question the integrity of the Spamfilter and my department. Thanks, Chris Ritter |

cmrbds,
Did you customize any of your "Customized Items" under the "Settings" tab? If so, can you please ensure that you have a valid 3-digit code in front of all of them, as without it SpamFilter will not be able to reject emails. If the above is not your case, do you have any of the "Tag Spam and Deliver" options checked? If that also is not the case, please post the section of SpamFilter's activity logfile that shows an incoming email that is supposed to be blocked but that isn't, so we can see from the log if there's anything unusual going on. |
