Anyone else getting nailed by SPAMIS crap? I can't figure out how it's
getting in. We have "Reject if Mail From = Mail To" enabled, and we
have "Reject if From Domain = To Domain". We also have SPAMIS
listed in our keyword filter. I've checked all of our whitelists to
make sure that nothing is enabling it to get through, and yet it still
comes in.
Here's a sample of the header: --- Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0 Received: from trinity ([209.183.146.39]) by mail2.mtprint.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.1830); Wed, 14 Sep 2005 05:14:25 -0400 Received: from 202.73.166.107 by mail.mtprint.com (LogSat Software SMTP Server) Wed, 14 Sep 2005 05:14:25 -0400 Received: from localhost.localdomain (HELO localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by snail.asheville.com (Mostfix) with ESMTP id BAD5203BFF for <xxxxxx@mtprint.com>; Wed, 14 Sep 2005 01:06:35 +0300 Message-Id: <200309010816.06350.covet@uk2.net> Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2005 19:00:35 -0300 From: "xxxxxx@mtprint.com" <xxxxxx@mtprint.com> To: xxxxxx@mtprint.com Subject: BREAKING NEWS: Microsoft Plans to Outsource Over 10,000 Jobs to China MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailman-Version: 2.0.13 X-Mailer: Ximian Evolution 1.4.3 X-Server: LogSat Software SMTP Server X-SF-RX-Return-Path: <xxxxxx@mtprint.com> X-SF-HELO-Domain: 209.183.146.39 Return-Path: xxxxxx@mtprint.com X-OriginalArrivalTime: 14 Sep 2005 09:14:25.0420 (UTC) FILETIME=[B39EC4C0:01C5B90C] -------------- I've redacted the emailed addy's, but everything with an xxxxx was exactly the same address. Al,
Could you please zip and email us at support at logsat.com SpamFilter's activity logfile for the day you received that email, along with your SpamFilter.ini file? From the settings you described, the email should have been blocked, so we'd need to see more in detail what has happened. |
