Does any one know how to delete relays.orisusoft.com from your RBL list? I tried to just delete it from the MAPS Servers icon under black list and save it and started spam filter service but for some reason it is still using it. I also tried adding it back in and then adding false to it is still blocking email.. thanks |

You just need to delete the entry relays.osirusoft.com using the main interface (look for MAPS Blacklist servers settings). Another way : edit SpamFilter.ini in your installation folder and comment the line "relays.osirusoft.com". After editing and renumbering, our SpamFilter.ini begins like this : ; a true after an ordb entry means their DNS is expecting the IP to be reversed I stopped and restarted the service.. Now all is fine. No more "521 The IP 216.104.212.87 is Blacklisted by relays.osirusoft.com.&Please stop using relays.osirusoft.com". |

Didier, Thank you for the help. Your solution does work. We contacted Justin, and found out that he had configured the SpamFilter service to run under "Administrator" rather than SYSTEM, and this caused SpamFilter's GUI not to be able to interact with the desktop, making the UI and its icon invisible. Not finding it, Justin was starting another instance of SpamFilter form the Start menu and used it to make config changes. This actually opened a second instance of SpamFilter, so whatever changes were made to it were not being picked up by the running service. Resetting the service account to SYSTEM and re-nabling the "Interact with desktop" option fixed everything. Roberto F. |
