Hello Hope you can help me out here. Spamfilter is in front of my Exchange server. When I from the internet send an e-mail to a user on me exchange server both DSN and Out of office replyes are not returned. Is there a way to allow this in spamfilter? (I have enabled it in Exchange) Why does it not work? Server: Windows 2003 R2 Spamfilter: 2.7.1.523 Exchange: Exchange 2003 w. SP2 Edited by sirrar |

Tosten,
Can you please post or email us the section of SpamFilter's activity logfile showing the times around when you sent the test email (and let us know what the email addresses for the sender/recipient are)? This will allow us to see why the email is being rejected. |

hi again i think we have misunderstood each other. The e-mail is delivered as it should do, but if i from the outside request at delivery reciept report for the mail, insted af a mail succesfully delivered i get: This is an automatically genereated Delivery Status Notification. Your message has been sucessfully relayed to the following recipients, but the requested delivery status notifications may not be generated by the destination. About the out of office reply, I have fixed it, my exchange org was not configured correctly. Still miss the correct DSN. (relay of DSN=YES) Its something in the header... I'm not sure we can help there. SpamFilter does add some new headers to indicate a few details of how the email was processed. However it does not alter existing email headers (except for the "Return-Path"). This should not interfere with the DSN notifications.
