Not sure if this is causing your problem, but something to check... If you have applied the MS05-019 security patch (or if the operating system's auto-update feature has applied it for you), this might be the cause. Problems with this update can cause various winsock errors. Microsoft has released a hotfix, and has committed to re-releasing a corrected version of the entire MS05-019 patch in June. This might be an intermittent issue. I've got the MS05-019 patch installed, and haven't had any problems (yet). I think that another user on this forum has reported that they have experienced problems with it. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898060/ for more details, or just Google "MS05-019" to see the fun that this little update is causing. |

Paul,
Could you please post or email us additional logs entry related to the one you mentioned? We'd need the ones with the same thread id (35264) adjacent to it. |

Paul,
from your logs the error is also occurring when trying to resolve IP addresses. We'll try to research this, but so far have not been able to reproduce it. Symptoms would point to a problem with the TCP stack as Jim mentioned, but without reproducing it we can't be 100% sure. |
