I cannot get the Quarantine to work with mySQL. [mysql][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-3.23.51-nt-log] You have an error in your SQL syntax near ';' at line 1.
I have tried version 2.5 and 3.5 of the ODBC driver. I have installed from script (which by the way needs to be modified because mySQL on Linux is case sensitive). It looks like the line terminator is being used but not needed. Help! Tim |

Tim, What version of MySQL are you running? If it's the older v3.x there are some issues, as mentioned in this thread (http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/showmessage.asp?messageID=1673). On the server SpamFilter is installed on, what verison of MDAC are you using? If it's earlier than MDAC 2.8, can you please try upgrading (see this thread). Even if running 2.8 or greater already, we recommend re-installing MDAC as we've often seen cases where other applications overwrite newer MDAC DLLs with older ones, thus downgrading the MDAC version without your knowledge. If all else fails, there's a hidden option in the SpamFilter.ini file that you can use to eliminate the trailing ";" at the end of some SQL statements. In the [server settings] section of the ini file, please add the following line: TrailingSQLSemiColon=0 to see if it fixes the problem. Roberto F. |
