Hi, I start getting this error message several times during the day: 03-05-04 00:04:35:906 -- (4576) Connection from: 203.87.159.71 - Originating country : Philippines 03-05-04 00:12:23:078 -- (1884) Connection from: 220.168.139.136 - Originating country : China The only thing that is common is that those countries are foreign. Is this causing a problem ? |

Stef,
What version are you running? I found some exceptions in my logs and restarted the service and they stopped happening but they were not the same as yours. I have contacted LogSat support and if they seem related, I will let you know. Regards, Dan S |

Stephane, Can you please let us know (1) what version of SpamFilter you are using, (2) what version and what language of Windows you are running, (3) what database platform you're using for the quarantine (if any) and (4) could you also post about a dozen of the log entries that preceed the exception errors? Hopefully with this info we may be able to find out the problem. Roberto F. |

Stephan, This error is very puzzling, as we've never seen it before. It appears to be caused by some date format incompatibility, so I'm afraid I'll need some more information so we can find the problem and provide you a patch for it. In all your samples we see the problem occurring at around midnight. Not being sure if this is a coincidence, could you please zip us to support@logsat.com two of your whole SpamFilter activity logs so we can all occurrences of the error? Furthermore, we see in the log that the date of the log entry is in the format "03-08-04 00:08:43:321", while the error mentions a "12:08:43 AM" time portion. Could you please go to the Windows Control Panel - Regional and Language Options and tell us:
Thanks, Roberto F. |
