I'm currently in the testing phases of using logsat. So far I really like the product and will most likely purchase a license. However there's on issue that's keeping that from happening. I get a large amount of reverse DNS lookups that are being quarantined. But when I turn around and do a dig on my DNS server it provides me with a PTR record for the IP in question telling me that SpamFilter ISP is blocking mail that should be passed through. What is the specific criteria that spamfilter needs to be supplied for reverse DNS? |

Use http://www.dnsstuff.com spam server list lookup (center box) on the ip address, first listed is the PTR record and it will be red if there is a problem with the configuration, or it will say PASS

Paul, If you can please post a couple of SpamFilter log entries that show what you think are the false positives we'll be glad to take a look. Roberto F. |
