I do not have straight through access to the internet from my Spam filter server. It goes through a proxy server. What do I need to set in SF to get it to work through the proxy server?

JohnD,
There is nothing to do on SpamFilter's side... SpamFilter will need to access the URL http://sfdb.logsat.com in order for the SFDB filter to work. It does not matter if there's a proxy in between, but please note that SpamFilter won't "know" how to use the proxy, it will rely on the Operating System in allowing outgoing connections. So if for exmaple the proxy is profile-based, the user account under which SpamFilter runs must be able to access the internet. |
