We have been battling a thunderstorm of spam email hitting us since around Friday....we became aware of it when we got flooded with NDR bounce back notices for a whole flurry of emails hitting invalid mailboxes on our mail server and they all had this in common. The body is 100% unicode. The subject appears to be also since we can't block them with the keyword filter at all. As a last resort, we have banned .gif file attachments. We feel that most people use .jpg for picture attachments these days anyhow and do not believe this will create a significant number of false positives compare against what it will block. Anyone else seeing this stuff? If so, got any suggestions on how to tackle it? Thanks. |

Can you find the *source* of one message subject and post it? Not the subject after the mail client renders it but the raw subject header. I may have a workable filter (or not)
