i need some clarification 1-can we use wild cards in autowhitelistforcedelivery? if yes '*' valid?? *@somemaillist.org|myuser@abc.org works??? i have tried it and apparently doesn't work 2- which one of these are valid as sender's address in autowhitelistforcedeliver "From", "Reply-to" or "X-SF-RX-Return-Path"???? Much appreciated any help

"yes" on your first question. The '*' is valid, the syntax in the example you provided should work (we just tried to duplicate it, and the email was correctly allowed to pass through). The email address the above test uses is the one specified in the "MAIL FROM" command. SpamFilter will always add that address to the "X-SF-RX-Return-Path" the "Return-Path" headers. Please note however the unlike the "X-SF-RX-Return-Path", the "Return-Path" header is modified by any SMTP server that receives the email after SpamFilter can potentially modify that header, so it's value is not 100% reliable to match the address SpamFilter found in the "MAIL FROM" command. |
