I been having a problem where a user is in the unfiltered list or added later to the list, they still have email trapped in the quarantined area. The TO address is not always to the recipient of the filter. Just trying to figure out why there is mail in the quarantined accounts if the email address resides in the unfiltered list.

Greg,

If the user is not in the unfiltered list to begin with, and emails are quarantined with this configuration, said emails will remain in the quarantine after the user has been added to the unfiltered list. It is only from that point on that emails should not be filtered.

Having said this, if you find that some emails are being quarantined even if the user is supposed to be unfiltered, we'll need some information from you so we can try to understand what is happening:

From your quarantine database, we'll need the sender, recipient, date/time stamp of a couple of emails that were addressed to the unfiltered user and still quarantined. A copy of SpamFilter's logfile for the day(s) on which those emails were received. A copy of your SpamFilter.ini file and all your local whitelist/blacklist/keyword files so we may replicate your settings.

Everything you requested was sent to you. Just want to make sure you got it and to see if you've had a chance to look at it. The problems is still occuring daily.

We have not found any emails with that info from you, sorry. I was looking for emails from the same domain you used in this forum (_____s.net). Can you please re-send them so we get on this right away.

I sent another email with the info you requested. I used another email address the one included with this post. Both emails addresses are delivered to the same account.
