G'day one and all,

Am currently using spamcop and spamhaus as maps filters. Can anybody recommend which others are GOOD to use ie: not many false listings etc etc.

i`d recommend to learn what each one does,

and compare it to the spam you receive what helps most...

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Abuse/Spam/Blacklists/

false positives will always be there.....

here in holland we have a village called : scherpenisse,

our company could not mail with them... guess why

Ok thank you for that. While I have you, do you know of any OUTGOING smtp spam/virus filtering software ? Sorry if this is off topic.

Here's what I use and in the order I use them.  They seem to work well and not throw a lot of false-positives:

sbl.spamhaus.org, true
spam.dnsrbl.net, true
bl.spamcop.net, true
dnsbl.njabl.org, true
relays.ordb.org, true
list.dsbl.org, true
