I found the following errors in my logfile this morning... running BETA .263

</SNIP>
<SNIP>
11/24/03 09:14:25:096 -- Exception occurred during MyFind: Access violation at address 00402E11 in module 'SPAMFI~2.EXE'. Read of address 1D3AA642 ###aristocracy!,###119625###119626
11/24/03 09:14:25:206 -- Exception occurred during MyFind: Access violation at address 00402E11 in module 'SPAMFI~2.EXE'. Read of address 0BBBC4E7 ###fluent!,###120551###120565
</SNIP>

I tried to stop the service, but it wouldn't stop properly - waited about 5 minutes - then restarted the server.  Checked the logs, and the corpus.db hadn't saved for over 12 hours.   I'm assuming that I lost all the corpus data for that time period.

I don't know if you want these type of reports sent here or not... let me know if there's a better way for you...

Ric,

Thanks for the report. The first "Out of memory" problem is most likely the cause of all the the subsequent errors. That out of memory is a know problem that has been a big cause of pains, as there is no way currently to reproduce it. If you could let us know how much RAM the beta usually takes, and what happens to the RAM when that error occurs, that may help us in pinpointing the problem.

Thanks,

Roberto F.
