Peter,
We received your email with the login details, but are unable to remote in your server, as you provided only a password but not a username. We tried "Administrator" but it did not work. Can you please email us again with the complete login credentials? |

Also, can you make sure that the SpamFilter server is actually able to resolve the name of your destination SMTP server? To double-check, can you please open a DOS prompt on the SpamFilter server, and type:
telnet destination_server_name 25 if you are not able to receive a welcome banner from your destination smtp server, that means that it is either down, or that the SpamFilter server is not able to resolve its name (DNS problems?) |

Mistery solved. There were two entries in the AllowedDomains.txt file for the same domain:
zzzzzzz.com zzzzzzz.com:aa.bbb.ccc.ddd:25 This is not usually a problem, but it does throw off SpamFilter when there are different forwarding addresses for the various domains. I eliminated the duplicate entry and everything seems to work as expected. PS - SpamFilter performs very little error checking on the config files as this allows us to have better performance. |
