Hello again ;)

can server protected by SF work as a smart host for internal SMTP server? By default it refuses (as it have full rights to do that  ) to relay mails to other domains.

regards

Seeb

the mail exhanger has its own setup for inbound or relaying connections, simply relaying to any domain should be stopped by it, unless you configure it to.

Unless i get your question wrong, i dont think you are at the correct forum for this... "server protected by SF " = the mail server.
