All, Where have I been? ALL SPF Records I have see are TXT RR Records. Now Microsoft states that they should actually be an "SPF RR" record. However, their own dns server software doesn't support it. Thoughts? Regards, |

well "SPF RR" probably not implemented in all dns server, but TXT is. the v=spf1 rule says SPF information is contained in a standard TXT RR (though a new RR type may be allocated * if*and when SPF reaches standardization by the IETF). you are saying it has reached standardization??

I do not know. I just know that when you check your SPS record VIA Microsoft's site, it fails because I have a TXT RR *NOT* an SPF RR. Regards, |
