{TODO -cNew : Subject lines are now prefixed with the words "Subject:", allowing RegEx searches to be more specific by limiting them to the subject line only}

I assume this is only used in the keyword lists?

How are spaces handled here?  I would like to exclude any email subject that has more than 7 consecutive spaces.

Can it recognize the following:

SUBJECT:_______

where the underscores are spaces typed into the keyword blacklist followed by a return?

A little background on this enhancement request... I had asked about this, based on the ISO-8859 subject line encoding trick that has made a comeback in recent months.  Roberto responded and described the changes that would be made in this post -- http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/showmessage.asp?messageID=2623 -- the relevant text reads:

"...all subject lines are stored internally as "Subject:this is some kind of subject". What this means is that we're prefixing the subject text with the letters Subject: (colon included). This will allow to use RegEx searches that look for the "Subject:" substring followed by any text you wish to search for. The search will then be limited to all lines beginning with "Subject:", which will of course then catch the email's subject."

Regarding the emails you're wanting to block... there is also a "Max number of spaces on subject line" setting in the main configuration screen.  Have you tried this option?  If not, give it a try... it sounds like it might work for your needs.

Yes I know of the Max Spaces option, but I only want it to look in the subject line.

Any idea if using SUBJECT: followed by N number of spaces will work?
