If we have mail come from anyone@verizon.net to someone@mydomain.com and verizon.net is listed in the excluded domains whitelist and someone@mydomain.com is not on the authorized to email list the email is still passed to the server. The to: email address is not real and the server generates a reply of not found in the address book.

That is correct, it is by design. If a domain is to be whitelisted, then it means that emails from it must be delivered no matter what, even to users not on the "Authorized To Emails" list. Roberto Franceschetti |
