I am running Spamfilter Enterprise in the Enterprise mode.  i am having troubles updating the authorizedtoemails list.  if i edit the wl_authorizedtoemails.txt file the running copy of spamfilter will pick up the new additions.  However it does not update the ms sql database and when i restart the spamfilter application, the email addresses are gone that i had added via the file.
what is the correct way of updating this information?  i am having lots of issues with my users not receiving mail because of this.
hopefully i will not have to update the sql database for any additions to this list?
thanks
Richard

Richard,

For Enterprise Mode, ALL lists are, in fact, maintained in the SQL DB.  The data is then written to the TXT files for SpamFilter to read from.  The SQL data is "God" in this case and will over-write any changes you make to the TXT files.

The lists must be maintained from either the SFE GUI or from a WEB interface that performs the SQL writes.  There are other methods that some of us use to do the writes to the SQL DB but the end result is the same.
