Subject: Whitelist entry not created upon delivery

For now, I'm using the .ASP pages that came with the software for the web interface. I can log on and deliver the mail, which does send the message through to the user. However, it is hit or miss whether it will add to the whitelist text file.
I have even given several hours figuring maybe it just takes some time to push down. This only happens ~25% of the time and does not seem to be related to load of the server. As a test I delivered one during a particularly heavy time and it was in the text file less than a minute later. An hour later during a quite time one was delivered but never added to the list.
Any thoughts? I have not had this problem in the past but noticed it recently after several addresses that I had whitelisted showed up in the quarantine again.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Can you please let us know what version of SpamFilter you are using (and if it's in "Enterprise" or "Standard" mode)?

Can you please check in the file \SpamFilter\domains\SFI\Filters.ini the entry:
WL_AutoWhiteListForceDeliveryFileName=C:\Program Files\SpamFilter\domains\SFI\WL_AutoWhiteListForceDelivery.t xt
and ensure that the filename specified does include a full path name, as above?
If the entry only contains a reference to the filename, without the path, it's possible that SpamFilter will not know what directory the file is in, and will use whatever directory Windows uses as the default at that time. In this case, you most likely will have multiple copies of that file scattered throughout your hard drives.
If the entry does have the full path name, we need to look elsewhere. SpamFilter will add the entry to the file within 5 seconds after the email has been force-delivered. This time may increase if your database is busy and the query that runs every 5 seconds has an occasional timeout (in this case, it will be re-checked after another 5 seconds, and again, and again). However, if the email is indeed delivered, that indicates that there were no database problems, and the entry should have been created. If so, if you can please zip and email us the section of SpamFilter's activity logfile contianing about 10 minutes of entries, starting from the time you force-deliver the email, hopefully we'll be able to find out more.
