Check if your IP is listed in the SFDB

Are you able to add an option so that users can specify the IP address in which they would like to check?

There are various reasons for this, some are as follows:
  • mail servers may be located on a dedicated /24 network where there are no machines used by users (especially one with a web brower). We had to install and use "lynx" on one of our mail servers.

  • Users could be transparently proxied and may not appear to be from the same network of the server in question. This applies to our users

De-listing Information for administrators

The de-listing page shows the following:

===
   Please find in your mail server logs the following email. Then enter the
   complete IP address of where the email sent:

   Date / Time sent: 8/23/06 12:10:17 AM (local time in Orlando, Florida)
   Partial IP address where the email was sent: 203.27.aaa.bbb
   Complete IP address: 203.27._____________
===

Would it be possible to include a timezone such as GMT, +1000 or -0400?

EDIT: Also, can you guys remove the 203.12.160.0/24 network please? There's too many entries for the 203.27.0.0/16 network in our mail logs

Thank you very much for your time and hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Haw

Haw,

I'm sorry, but there are multiple IPs in the 209.12.160.0/24 network listed in our SFDB because all those IPs are indeed sending spam and/or viruses!

Only licensed users of our software have ability of searching our SFDB database for IP addresses. We do not make this database public. We are however allowing owners of a /24 network search for the presence of their IPs in the database. We also made the delisting web page "lynx-friendly" to aid admins in the process. We cannot relax the process any further.

We include the timestamp of when the report occurred to help identify the email in the logs. Please contact us by email at support at logsat dot com, and we'll provide you with more detail on the IP.

We have been receiving several reports of @tpg.com.au emails bouncing in recent weeks. I'll be following this thread and try to offer some feedback where possible.
