Concate,

Please see the posting at http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=2437 - http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID= 2437 to see if it helps.

Also note that SpamFilter is designed to handle incoming email only, not outgoing. All the internal users should still use your existing smtp server as their "outgoing mail server" in their email client configuration.

The only way to allow users to have SpamFilter relay their email to the internet (meaning to any domain that is *not* listed in your local domains) is to add their IP addresses to the IP whitelist. This is done for security, as if you were to have a whitelist that only considered a domain and allowed it to relay to the internet, any spammer would then be able to use that domain, fake it, and use SpamFilter as an open relay.

We had this same error message appear yesterday. Turned out that one of our domain when added to the local domain list had a <space> appended to the end of the name.
