Hi Roberto, I am having an issue with spamfilter 2.6.3.482.

Running on Windows 2003 Enterprise, exchange 2003 enterprise, 2gb of ram, 250 users, SCSI drives, primary front end server running Spamfilter has the issue. Second server, same hardware, 250 users, secondary Back End server, not running spamfilter does not have the issue.

Identical setup at another branch office, except 4gb of ram, primary front end server runs Spamfilter and has the issue, Secondary server does not run spamfilter and is ok.

I see Spamfilter threads and total threads climbing which in turn causes Free System Page Table Entries to climb. They climb for over 6 hours then cause the server to become nonresponsive, and fall over. This has happend 6 times in the last couple of weeks.

Last occurance was Sunday at 3:30 PM MST in Canada. System requires a hard reboot when this happens.

I have a PerfMon graph I am sending to support at spamfilter.com

Thanks,
Wayne

Similar problem with mine SF 2.6.3.487 as well.

Running on Windows 2003 Standard, 1.5 GB ram, with MySQL.  Server become nonresponsive about twice a day, no apparent errors on either the SF log or system log.  Activity log shows Sync Corpus db and Bayesian Thread keeps on refreshing every 10 minutes or so but no smpt connection activities at all.  Unable to login to the ASP pages as well.  Restarting of services do not help, must hard reset the server.  I am checking for possible page file error and other possible causes.

Furthermore, SF hanging seem to have affected my pcanywhere as well.  Allows connection but become nonresponsive and locks up the sesson.  Unable to release the sesson without rebooting.

I am running M$SQL on a separate server. Run performance monitor and log to a file so you can see what happened after a crash.

Threads on SF, total threads, Total Pages are good counters.

You are seeing the same thing I am, machine locks up, no Remote admin access, ping replies, can see the services remotely, can get on and reboot with Dameware RCMD console but can't recover the server without a reboot.
