Does anyone know how to get spamfilter to reject all those emails that have pictures instead of text, I dont think it can pick up the text within those pictures thanks.

If you are not familiar using RegEx, try filtering by keyword using entries like the following and see if that gets the results you want.

src='http
src=http
src="cid:
src='cid:

You should also try adding the following to your INI file and then restart the service:

This setting goes under the [server settings]

FilterBase64html=1

Dan,

what does that ini file setting do precisely?

I noticed a lot of options in the ini file but never saw a complete rundown of their functions.

You could use regex keyword filter:

^([\s]|)+((<[A-Za-z0-9"'\.:\-_= /\?&]+>)([\s]|)+)+$

notauser,

What are you attempting to do with the above RegEx?   The "+" refers to an empty operand so I think there is an error there in any event.

MartinC,

I did not see your previous question ... sorry.  The FilterBase64html=1 filters headers with the following type of construct:
Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

Base64 is valid for an attached image (gif for instance) but *not* for text/plain so this setting will filter those.

Kirk,

I use a "Brute Force" RegEx but is does get some newsletters:
((?i)img alt="".*src="cid\:)
