I've checked our mx record with a public tool and the spamfilter one is reported as open relay. I've tested manually with telnet and spamfilter routed a mail to a domain not local.
I've checked what users have reported about relay issues in the forum (* in domain in list, etc.) but everything seems to be ok.
Any idea?

rudaf,
The most likely explanations are to have whitelisted the IP address of the server running the MX tests, and/or having added a * wildcard in the list of local domains. If you can email us with the detailed results of the MX test we'll try to see what is going on. |

Hi Roberto,
neither the IP nor the wildcard. Anyway we ave repeated the test and now the SFE rejects correctly the relay attempt...that's very strange since i've just restarted the service.
Thanks

If you still have the results that reported the open relay we can give it a try anyways...
