Is there any way to view statistics on mail that was _not_ filtered? Be it whitelisted, sent to an unfiltered address, or simply not spam? I am building a web interface and it would greatly improve our reporting if we could track statistics on relayed mesages

gillonba,
SpamFilter does not provide that ability out-of-the-box. All data about incoming emails is logged to the activity logfiles, and there are a few log parsers that will provide a wealth of reports. The most common is Sawmill - www.sawmill.net. |

Thank you. Then I should assume that there are currently no plans to add additional logging to SpamFilter itself?

gillonba,
Perhaps you misunderstood the above response. SpamFilter does a huge amount of logging and most, if not all actions that the server takes is logged. The information you are looking for is actually there but needs to be parsed out of the logs by some external application. A sample of what SawMill can do is at http://www.sawmill.net/cgi-bin/samples_bounce.pl?profile_name=spamfilterisp_sample
Some improvements have been added since this sample but you can get the idea.

Ah, I see the logs he is referring to. spamfilter\logfiles? That is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!
