Is it appearing regularly every 5 seconds, or sporadically?

The query that monitors the Enterprise database for changes is executed every 5 seconds. if it *always* times-out, then yes, there are going to be possibly other major issues that could be causing problems.

If the timeouts are sporadic, (or even once or twice a minute) that is not a cause of concern, as if there is a timeout, the query will be re-tried after 5 seconds.

In case it does happen *all* the time, please stop and restart SpamFilter, and then zip and email us SpamFilter's activity logfile for the entire day at support at logsat dot com. This will allow us to see the "startup" even in the log and also any other errors possibly present in the file.

Hi

Unfortunately it is the 5 second one Dead
I have mailed the file ..

Also I notice that this allways happens at startup:
"Detected differences in file timestamps - forcing DB export"

Should I revert back to "use standard filters" for now ??

Ronny,

We received the file, but it contained less than one minute worth of log entries. We really need to see several hours worth of data, which is why we asked for the log for the entire day. If you can please zip and email us the entire log for 11-6-07 we'll be able to find out more.
