Exactly what does this setting do besides not reject a message that has a % in the address? Does SpamFilter manipulate the delivery address in any way? -Ric |

Pretty much that's it... It simply blocks emails that have the "%" in the address.
There's a handful of older SMTP servers still around that have serious flaws in how they handle the % symbol, and spammers use the (unfixed) flaw to relay email. There's absolutely nothing an admin can do there, thus the setting in SpamFilter. |
