Just a simple thought here.   If Honeypots is being used to catch nonexistint email address shouldn't the IP be placed in the blocked IP file instead of the Honeypots file?  It would make more sense to me if it were done that way.  I personally always move the IPs from the Honeypots into the BlockedIPs file anyways.  Just a thought....

We actually thought about the same thing, but then decided to separate the lists so that users would not see "intrusive" unknown entries in their user-defined IP blacklist that were added by the honeypot filter. Having them separate allows users to manage their local IP blacklist without having SpamFilter "interfere" by adding its own IPs.

I feed the firewall with ip's found by honeypot, works like a charm. :)

How do you handle IP's that belong to hotmail.com or gmail.com that end up in the honeypot??
