Roberto, There are three of four different SPF log entries that display in the activity window, but no longer appear in the log. I would appreciate it if we could at least get back the "found SPF record for ..." in the logs as it is useful information. Actually I think all three missing types of SPF log entries are useful, but a record of the SPF policy at the time the email was processed is very important when reviewing logs. Thank you for considering this request. -Matt

Matt,
Everything that appears in the activity windows has to appear in the logs as well. If that's not the case, that's not intentional and will be classified as a big round bug. Could you please zip and email us both the logfile and the activity window's text so we can compare them and see what and where this may be occurring? Edited by LogSat |

I emailed you two files. ActivityWindow.log shows the entry as displayed in the activity window. 20050813.log show the entry as recorded in the SpamFilter log file. Notice 33 lines displayed in the activity window but only 6 are written to the log file by SpamFilter. The only SPF entries currently being written to the log file are the failure result entries. |

Bug is confirmed. A pre-patch is ready for any licensed customer who
requests it. We'll be officially releasing the fix within 48 hours
after further testing.
