The only thing I've found lacking, is a way to add userlists that it finds acceptable emails-to, drops all other email addresses for that domain, yet still imposses all the other rules against.

Basically, it would be a way for smaller companies to filter out the email sniffing servers, and once an IP has tried more than X times, report it to one of the spam abuse servers as a spammer.  It also would keep admins from having to sift through countless bounce messages about non-existant users on their server.

RS,

I believe the feature you're asking for is already there in the form of the "Authorized TO Emails" whitelist, found under "Settings - Black/White Lists".

If present, the list will specify the only local email addresses for which SpamFilter will accept email for. All attempts to send emails to non-existing users will be rejected, and you would not receive any bounces since the email is never accepted to begin with.

If an email address is present in the allowed list, the sender will still be subjected to all other filtering rules, so that assures that as much spam as possible will still be filtered out.

R,

Has the request for email addresses that are not in the Authorized To Email list not being added to the quarantined database completed?

Thanks,
Dan B

Dan,

The latest registered builds 2.0.1.347 and higher should not be adding to the quarantine messages with recipients not in the Authorized To Email list (even though the activity log will say otherwise).
