we've had a few users reporting this problem,

this message is supposedly from one of our users, and isn't spam.

okay... tried a re-install of the software last night... don't think its made that much difference.

most of the exception occurreds now are:-

"Out of Memory" with an occasional "Out of memory while expanding memory stream" and "Cannot create file".

anyone had this problem?

 

the server has 1gb of memory and doesn't seem to using much more than 200mb normally... tons of diskspace also.

 

I've lowered the max number of incoming connections and also tried removing some of our regex and keyword filters to see if this is related, but again no difference afaik.

Martin,

We've not seen that error before. If the message is from one of your users, could you please email us at support@logsat.com? We'll have you ask the user to email that message to us so we can try to duplicate the problem.

you are using 1gb ram huh ? with access (adbc ?)

well try 768 or 512, and your problem will go away.....

why ? ask ms$ the bug is in mdac
