Also make sure that you are not scanning the log file directory. Doing so will slow the system down considerably since log files are being written to all the time. I excluded it and saw an immediate increase in speed and a major drop in cpu spikes.</SPAN>]]>

My actual mail server still screens the email and deletes the infected files. It deletes most infected files. ]]>

I am asking because the enterprise virus scanner we currently use is sending alerts because the quarantined emails contain a virus.<BR>Should I exclude that folder from being scanned?
