kp4711,

I have a perl script that moves the logs to an external storage device.  We have to keep logs for 3 years (Per home land security) as an ISP.  The external storage device then weekly zips them up using the Winzip Pro scripting language.

Hello logsat,

I have an idea for new feature:

It will be very nice, when SF and SFE will have the following features:

1. automatic logfile-deletion after x days

2. save logfiles older than y days in compresed (.zip e.g.) format
