Jason,

What database platform are you using (MS Access, Microsoft SQL Server,MySQL or Oracle)? In all cases, the simplest way to setup the databaseconneciton is to use a .UDL file to configure the database connection.Sample .UDL files for all these platform are included in theSpamFilter\database directory. Simply double-clicking on them from theWindows Explorer should make a configuration dialog appear. If the"Test Connection" button works successfully, then SpamFilter shouldhave no trouble connecting to the database.

Please note that with NT 4 is is strongly recommended to install thelatest MDAC (Microsoft Data Components) from www.microsoft.com/data, asthe older ones that are usually installed on NT4 servers have quite afew bugs.

When I try to click on the 3 dots next the connection string or when I try to test DB connection the program crashes on me.

Dr. Watson for Window's NT error is SpamFilterSvc.e.exe

Just got the new beta software with the antivirus working.  It's pretty smooth.

My next step with the software was to get a Quarantinedatabase running.  I tried to follow the steps on the software andit's doesn't seem to be working.  I am using a NT 4.0 Server as anOS.

Do I need to have MSAccess installed?

What do I need to put in the string box?
