It seems that my spool folder on my mail server was hosed and the mail server was unable to process mail to the user mailboxes. Spamfilter went into overdrive trying to deliver mail to my disabled mail server.

Happy holidays to all.

Ken

My Servers alive monitor went off and I found that spamfilter was using 100% of the CPU resources. When I reboot the server the software runs fine for about 60 seconds then climbs quickly back up to 100% CPU Usage. It does the same thing in service mode or standalone mode. Virus scan with norton and Network Associates show nothing. Hijackthis shows nothing. If I stop the Spamfilter software the CPU idles along at a constant 1%. I can see no unknown processes running. I have turned off the SPF filter and the Bayesian filter but still no change. I am running 2.1.2.395 and just uninstalled and reinstalled the software with a new download. Netstat -an shows no activity on port 25 or 110

Any suggestions would help greatly.

Ken
