Hi,

I am new user for the SpamFilter.

I am facing some basic installation problem in version 3.1.3.605.

I have Simgle SMTP servers running behind firewall (NAT policy support).

My configuration is as under.

My static ip address: 59.95.248.202

My internal mail server  ip: 192.168.10.10

I have 3 DNS:218.248.240.208, 218.248.240.135, 61.1.96.69

My outside web server address:203.199.114.109

I have Access/SQL server with my network

My web site name is : http://www.steelcast.net - http://www.steelcast.net

How can i configure SpamFilter for my mail server.

I am facing main problem in NAT ploicy. What are suggession for the NAT.

What is FQDN.

What shoud be the details in SMTP listener and destination fields?

Please help me for the installation.

Lokesh,

The FQDN is the "Fully Qualified Domain Name" for your SpamFilter server. It is only used in the welcome banner to identify itself. Normally you would put there the full DNS name of your server.
The SMTP listener fields can be used to configure SpamFilter to use a specific IP and/or port to listen for incoming SMTP traffic. If you leave them blank SpamFilter will by default listen on all IPs bound to the NIC card and on port 25.
The destination SMTP server is the name/IP of your main mail server, which is where SpamFilter will forward clean emails to.
For the configuration, there are several options. Have you looked at our sample diagrams for implementation at:
