I use SpamFilterISP for my office e-mail, but at home, it's really overkill with
my mail server. I like the SFDB, however. My mail server allows me to
connect to blacklists, such as SpamCop and SpamHaus. Is it possible to
connect to the SFDB from a program other than SpamFilterISP?

We confirm. The SFDB database can only be queried from SpamFilter itself, we do not allow "public" searches of the database.
