Hi.

This is my error message:
07.04.05 23:53:36:671 -- SpamFilter ISP v2.5.2.458 Listening on all IPs port 26
07.04.05 23:54:11:953 -- (3152) Exception occurred during OnConnect: Cannot open file "C:\source\SF2.5.2.458\GeoIP.dat". The system cannot find the file specified
07.04.05 23:54:12:234 -- (3152) Resolving 217.8.154.125 - Error resolving IP address (Socket Error # 10054 Connection reset by peer.)
07.04.05 23:54:12:234 -- (3152) Mail from: mailto:rune.carlsen@architech.no - rune.carlsen@architech.no To: mailto:rune.carlsen@MYDOMAIN.no - rune.carlsen@MYDOMAIN.no - rejected - no relay allowed or % found in FROM address
07.04.05 23:54:12:234 -- (3152) 217.8.154.125 - Mail from: mailto:rune.carlsen@architech.no - rune.carlsen@architech.no To: mailto:rune.carlsen@MYDOMAIN.no - rune.carlsen@MYDOMAIN.no will be disconnected
07.04.05 23:54:12:234 -- (3152) Disconnect

So, I have a internet - router - spamfilter - smtp server setup. My router is set to accept connections on port 25, and forward to internal ip on port 26. Then Spamfilter is set to forward to destination server (my smtp server), on port 25. SMTP server do respond on SMTP (telnet).

So, why does Spamfilter stop this? I have tried several email addresses, nothing works.

I have set my domain, "mydomain.no", to be whitelisted, both with domain name, and ip address. IP adress set to be whitelisted is the internal ip.

PS - spamfilter runs on the same computer as the smtp server, which shouldn't be a problem, since they are running on different ports. For some reason, it did work for 21 minutes, but now it's down.

What's wrong?

Rune Carlsen

I was all solved by adding a dns server.
