I have a question with the unfiltered email setting.  If I add an employee to the unfiltered email section what happens to emails that are sent to that employee and are copied on the same email to others?  Do all recipients of the email get the email even though it may normally be spam that would have been blocked?  I am suspected that everyone on the email "to" line will automatically get the message if one recipient is unfiltered...is that correct?

You are correct.  What I have done in these cases is to set the :tag option so ... let's suppose tat the address you want unfiltered is mailto:someone@xyz.com" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - someone@xyz.com   .  In the unfilteredTo list you have the following:

mailto:someone@xyz.com:tag" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - someone@xyz.com:tag

Then, at least what will happen is that the subject line will have your tag word pre-pended to to it so that the recipients will know that the spamfilter *would have* blocked it.

This behavior is a result of how the SMTP Froms are managed in the headers and I have been working with LogSat to come up with a reasonable "work Around" for this but it is way low in the priority list.   There are several possible thoughts on the table for this situation.

Hope this answers your question.

Dan S.
