I am looking for a utility type program that will drop a mail connection when they first connect if they are an IP that don't want coming into my mail system.  Spamfilter now continues to allow the message(SPAM) to come on in and thus defeating the purpose of blocking an IP.  I want to disconnect them the second I find out they are an IP from a blocked country or a blacklisted IP.

Kelsky,

SpamFilter will "almost" immediatley drop the connection if the remote IP is blacklisted, unless the Bayesian filter is enabled.

If the statistical filter is enabled, SpamFilter will need to "learn" about all incoming emails, good or bad, in order to effectively learn about the spam you recieve. Part of the learnign process is to find out what kind of emails you receive from blocked IPs.

If you disable the Bayesian filter, then the connection will be dropped "almost" immediately. "Almost" means that SpamFilter will still receive the MAIL FROM and RCPT TO addresses, since it must  check to see if one of the recipients is on your whitelist filter. Only after that will it drop the connection, before receiving the actual email contents.
