Hi Guys,

Yesterday (early AM) I upgraded our spamfilter server to the new .358 version, and just now, when going through and cleaning out the obvious junk, I noticed that there were around 50 e-mails that were quarantined but there was nothing listed in the "RejectDetails" field of the database...the field was empty for each of these e-mails, and the "RejectDesc" filed only stated "Statistical filter match". After looking at the e-mails, it was clear that they were indeed spam, but no reason was listed for their being quarantined in the description field.

Anyone else seeing this? Is this something to do with the new " Some recipients do not exist, sending NDR bounce to sender entries I am now seeing in the activity log, since I am not seeing those listed anywhere in the quarantine? When I cross-referenced the e-mail with the log, it just shows normal activity...e-mails being quarantined due to Baysian filter match, or a MAPS hit, etc. It doesn't seem to match any entry with the new Some recipients do not exist, sending NDR bounce to sender" entries in the log.

 Thanks,

Chuck

Chuck,

That is rather odd, under normal circumstances the RejectDetails fiels should always contain some data. Could you please try executing the following query on your SpamFilter database and copy and paste the results in this thread or by email at mailto:support@logsat.com" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - support@logsat.com ?

SELECT  *  FROM tblQuarantine
WHERE     (RejectDetails IS NULL)

Hi Roberto,

Actually, I have never ran a query before...never had a reason to. Can you explain how this done? I use Access 2002 for all editing jobs with the database, and I see that they have query tools available...just I don't exactly know how to use them yet...LOL, or is there another way to perform the query?

Thanks,

Chuck

Roberto,

I think I figured out the query, I had sent it to you via e-mail. Please let me know if it was what you needed.

Roberto,

Is there another e-mail address I can send the database query to? My e-mail is still waiting in my outgoing queue folder waiting to be delivered. For some reason, I am not able to send e-mail to the mailto:support@logsat.com" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - support@logsat.com address.

Thanks,

Chuck
