Is there anyway to rename/ forward an smtp domain in Spamfilter?

We used to do 2-3 domains in Exchange 5.5 and rename them to down to just one with the IMC but this is no longer possible in Exchange 2000 (unless you add all the address to each person in AD).

for example, I might be mailto:bob@x.com" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - bob@x.com but with 5.5 could also be mailto:bob@y.com" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - bob@y.com with the IMC to rename any mail from y.com to x.com.

probably in Exchange 2003 but this could be 12 months+ off.

anyone?

MartinC,

SpamFilter can forward email addressed to different domains to different destination SMTP servers, allowing you to have a single email gateway forwarding email to multiple servers/customers. But it cannot "rename" a domain... It is up to your SMTP server to be able to suport aliases for email addresses.
