We were very close to releasing it a few months ago, but what seemedlike minor technical issues turned out to be major. At the moment, except for the antivirus plugin, no "generic" plugin support is being developed, sorry.

I remember talk of a anti-virus plug-in for Logsat a while back. If you can do that, then maybe you could create the ability to have an external hook to run other programs? I use a SpamAssassin program  behind Logsat and it catches a lot of spam that I can't get with Logsat. However, I have no way of teaching Logsat about all this spam I have. All I can do is toss it.

If there was a hook to an external program (make it an option) then I could add Spamassassin in line with Logsat.

Any hope of that?

Any hope of a generic plug-in architecture or is that too far out of the scope of Logsat?
