Maintaining an open connection to the database with that view consumes a lot of RAM, and should only be used when interactively working with the quarantine.<P CLASS="ASPForums"></P>If it was already hidden, can you please let us know on average what the load on the SpamFilter is, in terms of total emails/day and average number of concurrent incoming connections?<P CLASS="ASPForums"></P>If you can also zip and email us the SpamFilter's logfiles from the day the RAM usage increases that will also help in finding the problem.<P CLASS="ASPForums"></P>Roberto F.LogSat Software]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/member_profile.asp?PF=2">Guests</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4439<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 October 2004 at 9:34am<br /><br /><P>Hello,</P><P>I am seeing the same problem, the service uses less then 100mb and then climbs as the days go by until I have to reboot because it is consuming all RAM (512mb on computer).&nbsp; Stopping and restarting the service helps also.&nbsp; I have tried this on a NT and a 2000 server same results.&nbsp; I am run version 2.1.1.384.&nbsp; If I turn on the bayesian filter it gets worse; however, leaving it off just takes the service longer to max out the RAM. On the 2000 server that I keep trying it on if I turn on the bayesian filter it even consumes the 1gb of RAM after a few days.</P><P>Hillard</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>
