Hi, I am by no means a programmer but I am obviously missing something very simple in my attempts to alter the email message sent to users after they sign up for the web based quarantine access.
These are the four lines of code that generate:

Your password to access the CCS quarantine area is: 219654 Please ensure you change your password after you log in

Message = Message & "Content-Type: text/html;charset=""ISO-8859-1""" & vbCRLF & vbCRLF
 Message = Message & "Your password to access the CCS quarantine area is: " & Password & vbCRLF
 Message = Message & "Please ensure you change your password after you log in " & vbCRLF
 Message = Message & "." & vbCRLF

I want it to read:
Your password to access the CCS quarantine area is: 219654.

Please ensure you change your password after you log in etc etc.....

Multiple &vbCRLF after the lines does not seem to make a difference.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hmmmm.   This is what I do:

Message = Message & "Your password to access the CCS quarantine area is: " & Password & vbCRLF & "<br><br>"

Just to add to what Dan said. the <br> in the code will give you a carriage return.

The best way I found to write my code for my pages, is to write it in front page, then covert all the code into a single line and format it for VB. Just my 2 cents.
